mama in six letterings
lowercase or a capital
This changes the look more than the lettering does. In lowercase, mama has no tall letters, so it's a slim line of script only 4.1 mm to 5.4 mm tall. A capital M adds a tall first letter: "Mama" in classic script is 39 mm wide and 13 mm tall, and uses more gold.

Words with a g, y or b (grandma, gigi, mommy, abuela) come out taller, because those letters reach above or below the line. Retro gives the smallest pendants, handwritten and formal script the widest.

These words weigh 1.1 g to 2.4 g in 14k gold in classic script (0.9 g to 1.9 g in sterling silver), about what a short name like Lina weighs (1.7 g).

good to know
- One word or name per pendant. Two words fit if they're short: "mama bear" comes out 43 mm wide, close to the 44 mm maximum. Several kids' names on one pendant isn't something castmyname draws.
- Her own name works too. Some people would rather wear their name than mama. find her name
- Solid metal, not plated. The plate is 1.2 mm thick, every stroke at least 0.8 mm so it casts reliably.
- Any chain up to 1.5 mm. The two rings are fused on, and the chain isn't included.
